Answers to some frequently asked questions

What information are we asked to report?

Information and a link to the data submission form is now available on the "Submit data" page.

Do we have to conduct our activities during National Literacy and Numeracy Week 2007 (3-9 September)?

No. We know that time constraints can be difficult! You are welcome to run the activities earlier or later than this. However, only schools which completed the online data submission form before 9pm (AEST) on Friday 7 September were entered in the Apple MacBook draw.

Other teachers at school are also interested in being involved. Do they need to register?

This is entirely up to the teachers and schools involved. Everyone who fills in a registration form with a valid e-mail address will receive e-mail updates and an invitation to provide feedback to us at the conclusion of the project. Many schools choose to have a single coordinator who receives and distributes information, but each school is welcome to register as many teachers as they wish.

When I registered, the form said I had filled out a survey. Will this lead to me getting lots of unwanted email?

No. The "survey" appearance is due to the software we are using to collect your registration details (and also the national height and foot size data). The information you provide will be seen only by AAMT staff. We will provide you with occasional updates about the project. Should you wish to be removed from this list at any time you can contact the AAMT office.
